These were a series of photos that I was fortunate to see and to take photos as the clouds and sun gave a light show that for me lifted my spirit and reminded me that there is a power greater than us and who is the greatest artist of all.

ABOUT MOSAIC PHOTO ART & QUILTS
I am a professional quilter and photographer currently living in southern New Jersey. The quilts that I make are based on photographs, many photos in a photo montage or quilts/wall hanging made from a single image. My photographs and Pen and Paint Photo Art Prints are inspired by landscapes, natural and urban as well as interesting items and details that I see when I’m out and about.
All images shown are Copyright by the artist/photographer, ©Lewis Fuller, all rights reserved
This image was taken at Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It was taken during a time when my wife and I were just walking along the beach along the tide line some two week’s after the official season ended on Labor Day. It is amazing how the beach empties as soon as Labor day’s past, summer season and the water is at it’s warmest. The beautiful thing is that being alone on the beach gives you a lot to look, the sky, the surf and the beach and it’s the sand that is the surfs canvas as the lapping water continues to create and ever changing patterns in the sand, its nature doing its own thing and being the best artist in the world. I will definitely be using this image as one of my True Image Art Quilts.
Thing we see everyday, but do we take notice
This is a section of railway at the Florence Station Light Rail station near my home in Burlington, NJ
From a photograph to fabric, this image is one of several that I’m preparing for a future ‘True Image’ art quilt. The ‘Gate’ was taken at the entrance to the Water Garden in the Grounds For Sculpture in June of 2011 during a photography session in the park.
About the location:
In 1984, J. Seward Johnson, sculptor and philanthropist and a grandson of Robert Wood Johnson I (co-founder of Johnson & Johnson) envisioned a public sculpture garden and museum in Hamilton, NJ. His desire was to make contemporary sculpture as an art form more accessible and to offer people from all backgrounds the opportunity to become comfortable with contemporary art. Grounds For Sculpture was conceived as a place where audiences could experience sculpture in a familiar, accessible, and informal setting.
The sculpture park began in 1989 on the site of the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds and the Grounds For Sculpture opened to the general public in 1992. Since its inception, the park has built a collection of over 240 works, including sculptures by renowned artists Clement Meadmore, Anthony Caro, Beverly Pepper, Kiki Smith, and New Jersey sculptor George Segal.
